Curriculum Highlights

The Math Money Class

This class is working on making change and operating a cash register. We have 2 cash registers that can teach how to scan, how to charge things by credit card, and so this class is a job training class for those desiring to possibly get work as a clerk.

Our Reading for Pleasure and For Information Class

This class is able this year to offer 2 "Nooks" so that students can download stories or magazines and etc., and be able to get information through these devices through listening or reading and being able to enlarge the font.

Computer Classes

This class teaches some data entry and also using templates and how to maneuver on the computer for personal information and for work.

Drum Instruction

Microwave Cooking for Meals and Entertainment

Taking Care of my Home

This class teaches students how to do basic repairs in their apartment and to keep their apartment running safely.
